Varied backgrounds of students from both international and Thai communities. Language can be a barrier sometimes.

Do you enjoy living and teaching in Thailand?
Living on the island of Koh Phangan is amazing. I live and work right next to a fabulous beach!

What is the best aspect of your job?
Helping students from all backgrounds learn to read, write and speak English. Very rewarding.
What is the worst aspect of your job?
Sometimes can be frustrating dealing with many different ages of children and their level of English skills. Not really a problem, more of a challenge!

What is your favorite aspect of living and working as a teacher in Thailand?
Island life, living and working next to a beautiful beach. Lots of time off and getting to meet many people from all walks of life. Its an amazing experience to live and work here.

Overall, relaxing job, loads of free time and no hassle involved. Easy and entertaining job. Loads of days off and fair holidays, fully paid. Opportunities to travel not only through Thailand but all countries in SEA.

I love my job, its great to help students from all cultures to learn and speak English
What is the worst aspect of your job?
The classrooms can get really warm sometimes, making the kids sleepy. We do have a fan though which is very useful!

Yes, definitely – its great.
What is your favorite aspect of living and working as a teacher in Thailand?
Living in Thailand is very easy, not many worries or issues to deal with here. My work is also very rewarding and I get to meet so many interesting people. Holidays are also very long.
